2022

In October of that year, founder Heinz-Josef passes away at the age of 75.

2022

Redesign of the storage areas. Due to the ever-increasing variety of materials and in order to optimize warehousing, a new warehouse concept will be developed towards the end of 2022 and implemented in the following 5 months. Among other things, a new high rack offers space for more than 500 pallets.

2021

Founder Anton Giesguth dies at the age of 76.

2019

Commissioning of a wood chip plant and wood pellet mill for the ecological utilization of waste wood

2018

Commissioning of a 550 Kwp photovoltaic system for own electricity incl electric charging stations for our vehicles fleet.

2017

Extension of the administration building to approx. 550 m²

2015

Expansion of the manufacturing plant and storage space to a total of 10,000 square meters

2014

Incorporation of solid timber furniture, exclusively manufactured in Germany, into our supply program.

2013

Transfer of solid timber production from Romania to Montenegro

2012

Completion of a new warehouse with approx. 2,500 m²

2008

Closure of the manufacturing plant in the Czech Republic

2005 & 2007

The expansion of the manufacturing plant in Borchen is completed. The resulting warehouse and production capacity of approx. 5,000 m² enables us to address the requests of our customers even more quickly and specifically.

2004

Move into the new efficient and expandable manufacturing plant in Borchen near Paderborn. The new premises is ideally located directly on the BAB 33, Exit 29 / Borchen.

2003

Opening of a further modern sawmill with drying kiln in Romania.

2002

Generation change at Giesguth: Dirk Giesguth takes over the leadership of Giesguth Vertriebsgesellschaft mbH.

1998

Addition of a third manufacturing plant in Romania, which is still being expanded.

1997

Acquisition of shares from our joint venture partner

1995

Giesguth expands and opened a second manufacturing plant in the Czech Republic as a joint venture.

1990

We began the production of components for slatted frames and the furniture industry.

1986

Anton and Heinz-Josef Giesguth founded the Giesguth Holzbearbeitung GmbH & Co KG in Bentfeld. Emphasis on the production of profile boards, construction of block houses and planing.
